The course website link will be available after August 7. The website is a free, self-paced course. The self-paced course will have similar content to the course that was offered during April-June, with the following significant changes:
– Anyone can enroll in the self-paced course as many times as they wish (after August 7) and there will be no deadlines to complete the course material.
– No one from Cal Poly Pomona will be actively monitoring the discussion boards.
– Students who pass the course will only be eligible to receive an online badge — it would be too difficult to offer personalized certificates of completion.
All of your account information, including exam scores and achievements, will be preserved after the conversion. Additional details about the self-paced course will be listed on the website after August 7.
