Fit Family Expo
The LA Cancer Challenge is a great way to start celebrating Halloween and there is fun for the whole family.
Our giant Fit Family Expo has ongoing music and entertainment, food and beverage, as well as health and fitness booths.
Dress in costume and enter our Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded in various categories including Best Adult, Best Team and Best Volunteer. Please dress in full spirit of Halloween, but remember, this is a family event! NOTE: You do not need to RUN in your Halloween costume. There will be a complimentary gear check area to store your belongings while you race.
Kids Can Cure Fun Run
Our Kids Can Cure Fun Run is a perfect opportunity for children ages 2 to 10 years old to participate in the LACC. We allow our littlest runners (2-4 years) to go first, followed by 5-7 year olds and then 8 years & up. Kids follow “The Bee” from the start to the finish line so parents can cheer and watch them receive their custom medal at the finish line! After the race, children in costume can head over to the main stage and participate in our Children’s Costume Parade.
Our Fit Family Expo includes a Halloween Kids Zone with a bounce house, pumpkin arts and crafts, snacks and much more. We encourage you to get the little ones passionate about charity now. Sign up for the Kids Can Cure Fun Run and help us Run Pancreatic Cancer Out of Town!
4-Legged 5K
Calling all pups! Grab a leash and dress up your pooch to participate in our all new 4-Legged 5K. The $10.00 registration fee per pet, includes a doggie bandana, treat and goodies and helps your canine raise awareness for pancreatic cancer research.
Don’t want to walk the 3.1 miles with your pup? Join us to the Pooch Parade, immediately following the adult costume contest. Our Fit Family Expo will include pet-friendly exhibitors and more. Best-dressed pooch will receive a prize and all the glory.
Get your pooch registered for the spookiest tail-wagging event this Halloween and help us carve out a cure for pancreatic cancer!
Pet parents, please note the later start time for the 4-Legged 5K. Water bowls will be available at all water stations along the course.
***All dogs must be on-leash for the duration of the event***
